Vincent Willem van Gogh

Vincent Willem van Gogh (30 March 1853, Grote Zundert, near Breda, Netherlands — 29 July 1890, Auvers-sur-Oise, France) was a Dutch post — impressionist painterwhose work had a timeless influence on 20th-century painting. In just over a decade, he created more than 2,100 works, including about 860 oil paintings. Among them are portraits, self-portraits, landscapes, still lifes, olive trees, cypresses, wheat fields and sunflowers.
