Wildlife artist.

Jim's love of nature led him to focus on the art of wildlife. Growing up in the lake Country region of Central Minnesota, Jim showed a keen interest and knowledge of the region's abundant wildlife. 

After high school, Jim attended the Minneapolis College of art and design, where he received a bachelor of fine arts degree. After finishing Jim began his professional career working as an artist in Kansas city, Missouri, heading hallmark greeting cards. Although he considers his time at Hallmark one of the most valuable learning opportunities, his love of lake Country eventually brought him back to Minnesota. 

In 1996, he was awarded the title of Best artist on Classic deer in Minnesota and Northern Wisconsin.
