Georges Seurat
Georges-Pierre Seurat( French Georges Seurat, December 2, 1859, Paris-March 29, 1891, Paris) — French post-impressionist artist, founder of neo-impressionism, Creator of the original method of painting called "divisionism"or " pointillism".
Georges Seurat first studied art with Justin Lecoin, a sculptor. After returning to Paris worked in the Studio with two friends from the student period, and then set up his own workshop.
Seurat gravitated to the strictly scientific method of divisionism (the theory of color decomposition). The operation of the raster display is based on the electronic analogy of this method. Over the next two years, he mastered the art of black and white drawing. In 1883 Seurat creates his first outstanding work-a huge painting canvas "Bathers in Asnieres".
Puzzles with reproductions of works by Georges Seurat are a great interior decoration and an original gift for fans of mosaics with the most refined taste.
