Владимир Куликов
Vladimir Kulikov (1970, Leningrad)
During his studies at the art school, Vladimir was invited to his studio by the nonconformist artist A.S. Manusov. An acquaintance with the artist S.Y. Borodin took place in the studio, who inspired Vladimir to work actively and improve the skills of the painter. Thus. already at the age of 18, Vladimir already had a decent experience in oil painting and a huge number of works, most of which were landscapes.
In 1990, Vladimir entered the Herzen University, the Faculty of Art and Graphics, and at the same time began teaching at the restoration Lyceum.
A trip to Valaam was also a good experience for the landscape painter, where he was inspired by communication with monks, their way of life, silence and the desire for spiritual growth. The artist's landscapes are soulful, piercing, radiate unity with nature.
Since 1996, Vladimir Kulikov has been painting churches in Russia. Currently, she continues to teach and works with children. Vladimir's works have been exhibited in St. Petersburg art galleries and are in private collections in Germany, France, Finland, Italy, the USA, Switzerland and Russia.
