Сергей Свиридов
Sviridov Sergey Alekseevich was born in 1964 in the sunny Crimea, the city of Simferopol. Already in 1987, the young artist graduated from the Faculty of Painting and Graphics of the Moscow Academic Art Institute (MGAKHI) named after V.I. Surikov. Before that, Sergey studied and successfully graduated from the Simferopol School of Fine Arts.
Acquaintance with the famous landscape painter Afanasy Sukhinin had a great influence on the formation of the unique author's style. A native of the motley southern region, Sergey Sviridov very subtly perceived the picturesque manner of living seascapes, vivid portraits and juicy still lifes. Having shown great interest in the special colors of the southern Mediterranean coast, Sergey Sviridov, as an artist, was able to acquire a unique manner of combining shades in shadow and in light.
These semi-fabulous contrasts allowed us to create paintings filled with the lively charm of southern nature, reflecting the unique flavor of seascapes and portraits. Sergey Sviridov's paintings are invariably bright, dense, saturated: in them both nature and people breathe the fresh energy of summer and warmth. In each of the favorite genres (landscape, portrait and still life), inner optimism and interest in life are revealed. The energetic energy of Sergey Sviridov's works attracted great attention of the public, and allowed his works to participate worthily in many international and Russian exhibitions.
