Ron Van Gilder

Van Gilder received his bachelor's degree from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, specializing in graphic design and engraving. His keen interest in drawing from nature led him to win a school drawing competition in his senior year. Ron feels that the knowledge gained from studying human anatomy increases his ability to accurately represent the structure of animals. Ron continues to develop his figure drawing skills by regularly working with live models.
