Michael Sieve

Michael Seve received his formal art education at Southwestern State University in Marshall, Minnesota. He studied modern abstract, impressionistic and surrealist painting techniques. Despite this training, his personal style is dictated by his kinship with nature.  Michael Seve is an avid athlete and a recognized artist of wildlife and large wild animals. He believes that the best wildlife art is inspired by real-life experiences in this field. This real-life experience, combined with extensive research on the natural history of the area and species, as well as photographs and samples, where possible, allow the artist to create a successful painting that is both artistically interesting and naturally accurate.
