Michael David Ward

Michael David Ward is an American artist/writer of Japanese descent.  The artist paints in various genres, and is also a graphic and industrial designer.  In addition to his artistic activities, Michael writes science fiction and fantasy. Michael has created many memorable images for Paramount Studios, Lucas Arts and New Line Cinema in films such as Star Trek, Star Wars and Lost in Space. His artwork and character designs have also been licensed by numerous companies for various products. His work has also been featured in numerous magazines, such as Heavy Metal Magazine, as well as on book covers.  His original paintings and limited-edition prints are collected all over the world and are widely represented in galleries and exhibitions in the USA, Europe and Japan.
