Iris Scott

Iris Scott made her career through fundamental research: should a brush be the only tool? In the period from 2009 to 2019, the artist has devoted himself exclusively to painting with your fingers. Finger painting took her to New York City, where she lived and worked in a renovated factory attic in the heart of Brooklyn. The dynamic energy of the city gave Iris exactly the magic that was needed to take finger painting to new heights. Iris received representation at Filo Sofi Arts, and her solo exhibition "Ritual in Pairs" in 2019, held in Chelsea, was highly appreciated by Jerry Salz and received coverage in such reputable publications as New York Magazine, Smithsonian Magazine and Artnet.
