Jan Vermeer
Jan Vermeer van Delft (1632-1675) was a Dutch painter, master of household painting and genre portraiture. Along with Rembrandt and Frans Hals, he is one of the greatest painters of the Golden age of Dutch art.
Even during the artist's lifetime, paintings by Jan Vermeer were paid very good money. Vermeer mostly wrote for his patrons.
Most of Vermeer's works are compositions in a carefully prescribed interior, with a small number of figures. There are also several cityscapes. There are practically no religious subjects (despite their widespread use at that time).
Jan Vermeer's puzzles are talented reproductions in the form of mosaics for Assembly.
