Haruyo Morita

Haruyo Morita is a Japanese artist born in kita-Katsushika district, Saitama , Saitama Prefecture in 1945. Until 1972, she worked as a kimono artist . Her main art objects are women in beautiful kimonos and idyllic places. From an early age, she showed her artistic talents, and in 1960, as a schoolgirl, she took part in a competition. Repeatedly received prizes at exhibitions. She completed a mandatory apprenticeship and worked as a kimono artist and designer until 1972 She moved to London in 1977 and organized exhibitions of her work in London, Los Angeles, new York, and Honolulu
