Ге Н.Н.

Nikolai Nikolaevich GE (15 [27] February 1831, Voronezh-1 [13] June 1894, Ivanovsky farm, Chernihiv province) — Russian painter and draughtsman, master of portraits, historical and religious paintings. Occasionally he also performed sculptural works. Nikolai GE was born on February 27, 1831. GE was first a student at Kiev, then Saint Petersburg University, where he studied mathematics, then became interested in art and entered the Academy of arts.
