Günter Konrad

Born: 1976, Leoben, Austria. Education: 2001 - 2005 Multimedia Art, Higher School of Salzburg Degree: Master's Degree (FH) for Artistic and Creative professions Currently: Lives and works in Salzburg. Since 2011, he has been combining fragments of famous individual works from art history with his own drawings, aerosol drawings, sketches and snapshots in graphic and photo programs. On the one hand, Conrad goes back in time, looking for artistic and historical artifacts of high culture of past eras, and on the other hand, he works on new, wild, unbridled, analog and digital imaginative worlds. It dilutes fixed codes and creates a new visual grammar. The goal is to unite opposites and bring them into harmony.
