Edith Holden
Edith Blackwell Holden (26 September 1871 – 15 March 1920) was an English painter and teacher of fine arts. She was born in Kings Norton, Birmingham. She became famous after the posthumous publication of her 1906 "Notes on Nature" in facsimile form as the book "Rural Diary of an Edwardian Lady" in 1977, which was a huge publishing success.
