eBoy is a pixel art group founded in 1997 by Kai Vermeer, Steffen Sauerteig and Svend Smital. Their intricate illustrations have been embodied in posters, T-shirts, souvenirs and exhibited in galleries. [ 1 ] They were founded on May 2, 1997. "We started working with pixels because we liked the idea of creating images just for the screen. This is the best way to get really clear and clean results. Besides, it's fun to work with pixels, and you have to simplify and abstract things, which is a big advantage of this technique." eBoy is based in Berlin and Los Angeles .
