Marjolein Bastin

Marjolein Bastin (born 1943) is a well-known Dutch nature artist, writer and Illustrator. She studied at the Academy of fine arts in Arnhem, where she met her husband and Manager Gaston Bastin. From 1960 to 1965, she worked in various advertising agencies and publishing houses. Shortly after completing her studies at the Academy of fine arts, her work was widely recognized when she was asked to illustrate a one-page article for the popular Dutch women's weekly newspaper Libell .
