Hiro Tanikawa jigsaw puzzles

Hiro was born in Yokohama, Japan in 1947.

 As a boy, he aspired to become a cartoonist.

Although several of his works were published in Japanese magazines, Hiro decided to focus on fine art and commercial illustration. He graduated from the Tokyo College of design, studying comics and animation graphics.

Hiro created original art for items such as Japanese children's books, puzzles, stationery, and calendars.

Hiro currently teaches art technique to students at the Nagaoka Institute of design in Japan.
