Patrick Reid O'brien knew he wanted to be an artist at age 6, growing up in Baltimore, studying original watercolors by T. Walter, the architect of the Capitol in Washington, DC. Walter is also Patrick's great-great-great-grandfather. "Art always calls me," says the artist.
Patrick graduated Summa cum laude from Maryland state College with a degree in fine arts.
After 15 years of working in advertising (working for clients such as Pepsi, CBS Radio) and designing logos, his wife Valeria suggested that he start drawing again.
He has been featured in Southern Living, the LA Times, Dan Papers, Chicago Tribune, Baltimore Sun, and Chesapeake Home magazines. Now this collection contains about 3000 works of art.
